What to Expect
What to Expect from your Osteopathic session...
Your first osteopathic visit will be approximately 50-55 minute consultation which will involve taking a full and thorough case history including your present complaint, medical history, general health and any medications you are taking.
You will be required to dress down to your underwear, sportswear or whatever you feel comfortable in and I may ask you to perform simple movements during the examination to allow me to examine and assess you structurally to be able to diagnose and treat your complaint.
Once I have diagnosed you, treatment will commence. If I feel it is something I cannot treat and needs further investigation with tests etc, I will refer you back to your GP, writing a letter to inform them of my findings if necessary.
